Miami Heat Vs New York Knicks 6th December

The two teams with the best record in the east came head to head at the American Airlines Arena in Miami in Monday. The Knicks were without there top scorer Carmello Anthony as had to get stitches in his middle finger of his left hand sustained in the previous game and he was not able to play until the next game. But the Knicks were confident because of earlier in the season the Heat were beaten well in New York. Miami started well which is something they missed from there last few games and led by 3 at the end of the first quarter. The Knicks were getting into the game though and were hitting  big shots with Raymond Felton scoring big , he finished with 27 points and 7 assists. It ended level at the break with both teams finishing with 53 points. In the second half the Knicks were really playing well and turned up the heat on the heat. Jason Kidd and Steve Novak both knocking down big three’s. Dwayne Wade looked out of sort for the Heat and had a poor night shooting the ball , as did Chris Bosh. Also Shane Battier did not have a good game returning from injury. The Knicks continued to push on and were the the better team throughout the second half. The final score was 112 to 92 for the Knicks and it was the first loss at home for the Heat this season as well as the heaviest loss since the big three have been together. Le Bron James led the scoring in the game and had an impressive 31 points , 10 rebounds and 9 assists , nearly a second triple double in as many games. The Knicks will kick on from here and continue to impress while the Miami Heat will have to sort themselves out before the visit of the Hornets on Monday. They also need Dwayne Wade to find his shooting skills again.
